I've been getting e mails this morning about Exene Cervenka, telling me to look at her internet posts. They are really upsetting. She's on the "truther" side now about the mass murder in California. She says she thinks the episode was faked. This really hurts. Her beautiful anti-war lyrics, her feminism, her brave songs about our world...when I was breaking up with my family 15 yars ago, her songs felt like they were written to me, ad her defiant attitude helped me pick up the remains. One commentor said it's not unusual for old punk rockers to become reactionaries....I think that's bullshit. What could have happened? could her MS have affected her like this? I'm really upset, and hurt.
